Does Trip Guide Creator work offline?
Open your trip while connected to Wi-Fi before travel. When the app says Offline Ready, the saved itinerary and supported documents remain available without service on that device.
Prepare before departure
Open the trip in the Trip Guide Creator mobile app while you are connected. Wi-Fi is best because eligible documents are prepared only on an unmetered connection. You can keep using the trip while preparation runs.
Know when the trip is ready
Offline Ready means the supported trip information and supported documents were saved and verified on this device. If a document type still requires internet, the Offline Access details show the count instead of claiming everything is stored.
While traveling
Closing the app, force-closing it, restarting the phone, or temporarily losing service does not remove the offline trip. Do not log out if you expect to rely on offline access. Logging out, switching accounts, or losing trip access removes private offline access from the device. Editing, uploads, imports, billing, and other online actions still require a connection.
How long the copy remains
The active owner trip remains available through the trip end date and for 30 calendar days afterward. Opening another trip does not automatically delete the protected offline trip. If trip dates change while connected, the automatic removal date updates from the current trip end date.
Remove the device copy
Remove Offline Copy deletes only the saved package on this device. It does not delete the cloud trip, server documents, ownership, or another device's copy. The trip can be prepared again later while connected.
